Decskill is growing and we are looking for a Mid C++ Developer for a project in São João da Madeira, Portugal, with a hybrid model (2 days at the office). You will contribute to embedded systems for consumer and industrial electronics, collaborate with global teams, and improve software through testing, debugging and optimization, using AI-assisted coding tools to raise efficiency.

Knowledge of networking protocols and security concepts will be valued.

Qualificações

• At least 3 years of experience as a C/C++ Developer.
• Background in consumer or industrial electronics.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems development.
• Experience with embedded Linux (custom OS environments).
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT).
• Understanding of security concepts (SSL/TLS, authentication, encryption).

• Help deliver high-quality releases by contributing to software backlogs.
