Act Digital in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with international stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specs. You will drive Agile delivery, work with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and business teams, and ensure alignment with regulatory needs.

You will support workshops, document user stories, manage backlogs, and assist in UAT while maintaining traceability from requirements to delivered functionality.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience within the Insurance industry, life insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance processes, products and operations.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to manage requirements through full project lifecycle.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Your Mission

As a Business Analyst, you will:

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis Requirements Management

• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.


• Translate requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.


• Facilitate workshops and requirement clarification sessions with stakeholders.


• Ensure business needs are correctly understood by development teams.

Agile Delivery

• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to support project delivery.


• Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.


• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.


• Support prioritization and backlog management activities.

Functional Design Documentation

• Produce and maintain key project deliverables, including:


• User Stories


• Functional Requirements


• Functional Specifications


• Test Books


• Project Documentation


• Meeting Decks


• Status Reports


• Ensure documentation remains clear, comprehensive, and up to date.

Testing Validation

• Support test preparation and execution activities.


• Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.


• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and stakeholder sign-off processes.


• Ensure traceability between requirements, testing, and delivered functionality.

What We're Looking For

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.


• Proven experience within the Insurance industry, specifically:Life Insurance (Assurance Vie)


• Strong knowledge of insurance business processes, products, and operations.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.


• Ability to manage requirements throughout the full project lifecycle.


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
