Alpineo Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology within an Agile environment. You will work with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, QA and DevOps to analyse challenges, define requirements and deliver scalable, high-value solutions that support business objectives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong requirements elicitation, process analysis and data modelling.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
• Experience with Product Owners/Managers, Scrum Masters and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in bridging business needs and technology solutions within an Agile environment.

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Engineers, QA and DevOps teams to analyse business challenges, define requirements and deliver scalable, high-value solutions that support business objectives.

What You'll Do

Product Discovery & Strategy

• Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support product discovery activities, user research and solution design.
• Translate business needs into epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and UX Designers to define product scope, features and dependencies.
• Analyse business processes, data and system interactions to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and contribute to product prioritisation and roadmap definition.

Product Delivery

• Lead backlog refinement and support sprint planning activities.
• Ensure requirements are clear, feasible and aligned with business goals.
• Work closely with development teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Define and validate test scenarios, support FAT and UAT activities.
• Coordinate release readiness, stakeholder communication and deployment planning.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and requirement traceability.
• Monitor product performance and support production-related investigations.
• Analyse KPIs, user feedback and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, UX and Engineering teams to continuously enhance user experience and business value.
• Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and product evolution.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong experience in requirements elicitation, process analysis and data modelling.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Experience working closely with Product Owners/Managers, Scrum Masters and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint planning, testing, releases and production support.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management or Asset Management is highly valued.
• Fluent English is required; French is a plus.
