Siemens in Portugal's Tech Hub is seeking IT professionals to join a global engineering leader. You will provide Level 1–2 help desk support for incidents, monitor the IT production environment, and contribute to documentation and requirements gathering.

The role emphasizes ITIL-aligned operations, collaboration with international teams and external partners, and ongoing improvement. A degree in CS/IS, strong English, and 5–7 years in IT projects with banking knowledge are expected.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Business or BIS (or equivalent)
• 5–7 years IT project experience, esp. global banking/treasury systems
• Experience in international/virtual teams and with external partners
• ITIL experience or certification desired
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer orientation and communication skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 1–2 help desk support for IT incidents and requests
• Monitor IT production environment according to KPIs
• Contribute to application documentation
• Collect and scrutinise business requirements
• Design IT solutions aligned to business processes and architecture
• Conduct functional tests during development and before launch
• Engage in continuous improvement within the Solution Expert Chapter
• Optimize existing solutions and processes while meeting SLAs and security requirements
• Provide end-user trainings
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

Your mission will be...

• Provide Level 1 and 2 help desk support for IT incidents and requests, including analysis and problem resolution for our CMS Application Loan IQ
• Proactively monitor the IT production environment according to KPIs
• Contribute to the creation and updating of Application documentation
• Collect and scrutinise business requirements
• Design IT solutions that align with business processes and architectural recommendations
• Design and conduct functional tests throughout development and prior to launch
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives as part of the Solution Expert Chapter
• Optimize existing solutions and processes, e. g. by process harmonisation, consolidation of applications, interfaces, and other IT Services
• Optimize operations while ensuring that regulatory and security requirements as well as agreed service levels are met
• Provide trainings to our end users
• Be part of our excellent collaboration team, together with our internal and external stakeholder.

We are looking for someone with...

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Business or Business information systems, or equivalent education qualification
• You have an excellent IT Know-How and experience in Financial Services (e. g. Controlling and Financial Reporting, Financial Instruments, Leasing and Factoring Business, Risk Management and Risk Controlling Business) and related processes gathered through relevant work experiences
• You gained 5-7 years professional experience in IT projects especially with global banking / treasury systems as well as knowledge of SQL
• You have experience as member of an international, virtual team and working with external partners
• You have experience in operations and development of IT applications (e. g. ITIL), ideally ITIL certificate
• Analytical information processing and decision-making competences
• Strong customer orientation
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• English fluent in speech and writing
