Job summary

Siemens Financial Services (SFS) in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an Associate Senior Data & BI Specialist to join the Data & Business Intelligence team. You will design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions supporting portfolio, financial, and risk management, collaborating with stakeholders to translate needs into scalable data solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in data and BI or a tech-focused business role.
• Proven experience delivering data-driven reporting and analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of financial services, portfolio management, and risk concepts.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, including data modelling and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in the data and business intelligence field or in a business role with a strong technical understanding.
• Proven experience delivering data-driven reporting and analytics projects.
• Strong understanding of financial services, portfolio management, and risk management concepts.
• Advanced hands‑on experience with Power BI, SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, including data modelling, data transformation, and the development of scalable reporting and analytics solutions. Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
• Experience in risk analytics, financial reporting, or commercial finance is considered an advantage.
