Aviation Jobsearch Europa is seeking a French-speaking Technical Support Representative for a fully remote role with occasional Porto training. You will support a tech platform, troubleshoot using MySQL, and collaborate with developers in English.

French-Speaking Technical Support Representative – Tech

We are partnering with a leading outsourcing and BPO consultancy to recruit a French-speaking Technical Support Representative for a tech platform in Porto, Portugal. In this role, you will provide product support to platform users, troubleshoot technical issues using MySQL, and collaborate with software developers to resolve complex platform challenges.

Your Role

• Provide technical support in French to customers and liaise with developers in English via chat and voice channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform and database-related inquiries using MySQL.
• Escalate unresolved or complex technical bugs to the software development team with clear documentation.
• Deliver timely and accurate technical solutions while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.
• Translate technical specifications into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical users.

Your Qualifications

• Native or fluent French (C1/C2) with strong professional English skills (minimum B2).
• Solid working knowledge of MySQL is essential.
• Familiarity with Postman or API testing tools is considered an advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification (or higher).
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in providing customer-focused support.
• No prior work experience required; technical knowledge of MySQL is the primary requirement.
• Availability to attend two weeks of on-site training in Porto.

The Offer

• Location: Fully remote position with 1 day a quarter going to the the office in Porto. (company-provided accommodation support available during the initial two-week training period).
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week), 8 hours per day plus a 1-hour lunch break, on rotational shifts Monday to Friday between 07:00 and 19:00 (weekends off).
