Job summary

Wilde Lisbon is seeking an Assistant General Manager to shape guest experience and drive performance across the property. You will oversee commercial results, financial performance, and people leadership while developing the skills to lead a property of your own.

This pivotal role sits on the General Manager succession pathway, offering exposure to Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B, with a focus on continuous improvement and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across a complex hotel/aparthotel or similar guest-led operation.
• Experience in lifestyle assets blending guest and local experiences.
• Leadership across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and F&B.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Ability to use performance data to identify issues and improve results.
• Proficiency with hotel systems (Opera PMS, Snapfix, ReviewPro, OTA extranets).

Responsibilities

• Own guest experience performance with consistently high standards across the property.
• Drive commercial performance with revenue, payroll and cost targets.
• Lead Heads of Department and build a strong property leadership team.
• Recruit, develop talent and plan succession for future leadership.
• Identify risks and lead improvements across operations, finance and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with central teams to align guest experience with business goals.
