Wilde is seeking a Head Housekeeper to uphold luxury hotel standards and lead our housekeeping team in a fast-paced, service-driven environment in Lisbon. You will manage daily operations, ensure exceptional cleanliness, and drive the department’s performance in alignment with Staycity Group’s Brand SOPs.

Qualificações

• 4+ years housekeeping experience in a similar role within lifestyle or luxury hotels.
• Previous people management experience.
• Local market knowledge preferred.
• Adaptability to feedback, guest needs and operational demands.

Responsabilidades

• Implement and uphold SOPs for the Housekeeping department.
• Maintain property's presentation and hygiene to high standards.
• Inspect all goods received by Housekeeping for quality and quantity.
• Lead weekly Q&E inspections.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure rooms are presentable and ready.
• Manage department payroll budget in line with property budget.
• Oversee equipment inventory and timely procurement.
• Coordinate with external partners to meet KPOs and brand standards.
• Act as Staycity Group ambassador and promote sustainability initiatives.

We would love you to have:

• 4+ years housekeeping experience in a similar role within a lifestyle or luxury hotel is preferred, along with previous people management experience
• Local market knowledge is preferred
• Adaptability: Ability to respond quickly to feedback, guest needs, and operational demands.

What you can do for us:

• Implement and uphold the Brand Standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for our Housekeeping department, ensuring strict adherence
• Take full ownership of maintaining the property's presentation and hygiene standards, consistently meeting the company's high-quality benchmarks.
• Thoroughly inspect all goods received by the Housekeeping department, meticulously checking for quality and quantity.
• Take full ownership regarding weekly Q&E inspections
• Collaborate closely with our Maintenance team to ensure all rooms are in presentable working order at all times to ensure maximum guest occupancy and satisfaction
• Take full ownership of the departments payroll budget, keeping it in line with overall property budget/forecast
• Maintain accountability for all Housekeeping equipment, guaranteeing its optimal functionality. Keep sufficient inventory levels to ensure seamless operations, and make timely purchases when required.
• If applicable – act as the main point of contact with any external partners to ensure KPOs, SOPs and brand standards are met.
• As part of our Operations team, demonstrate a commitment to operating in accordance with the environmental and social sustainability criteria set by Staycity Group and external programmes such as Green Key
