Job summary

Nordea Asset Management is seeking a Compliance Officer to ensure robust compliance risk management in NAM Portugal. The role sits in Lisbon, based in Oeiras (Quinta da Fonte), and will drive fair customer outcomes and a strong ethics culture while supporting regulatory compliance across Europe and Asia.

Initially 100% on-site for two months, then a hybrid pattern (3 days in office, 2 at home). You will monitor risks, advise stakeholders, and collaborate with UK and European teams to stay ahead

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Compliance within Asset Management.
• Experience supporting UK Asset Management business.
• Detailed knowledge of the FCA framework for asset managers.
• Experience advising on UK regulatory requirements (Conduct and governance, SMCR, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and monitor compliance risks across NAM.
• Provide practical compliance advice to stakeholders and senior management.
• Support implementation and enhancement of the Compliance Framework.
• Conduct compliance reviews, thematic assessments and monitoring activities.
• Deliver compliance training and promote a strong risk culture.
• Advise on regulatory developments affecting the Asset Management industry.
• Support governance forums, management reporting and regulatory interactions.
• Partner with UK and European teams on regulatory compliance matters.
