Decskill, an IT consulting company, is seeking an App Production Support specialist with SQL & Unix/Linux expertise to join our growing team. The role focuses on providing L1/L2 production support for critical apps, incident management, and proactive service improvements across data platforms.

You will analyse logs, monitor services, and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure high availability.

Qualificações

• Unix / Linux and Shell Scripting required.
• Data Warehousing and Data Platforms knowledge.
• Databases, Oracle, PL/SQL and SQL experience.
• Experience with Autosys desirable.
• Middleware and Cloud Computing familiarity (MQ, Tomcat, Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible).
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau for reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for critical applications and data platforms.
• Manage incidents, service requests and production issues.
• Analyse system, middleware and application logs to resolve issues.
• Monitor application services for availability and stability.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to maintain service quality.
• Participate in shift work and on-call rotations.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play activities.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and automation.

We are looking for an Appplication Production Support | SQL & Unix/Linux!

Responsibilities:

• Provide L1/L2 Application Production Support for critical applications and data platforms.
• Manage and prioritise incidents, service requests and production issues.
• Provide timely and high-quality technical support to Business teams.
• Analyse system, middleware and application logs to identify and resolve issues.
• Monitor application services and ensure availability and operational stability.
• Troubleshoot issues across Unix, databases, middleware and application layers.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement, identifying recurring issues and repetitive tasks.
• Address recurring incidents through Problem Management, automation and process improvement.
• Produce operational reports and contribute to service performance monitoring.
• Participate in shift work and on-call rotations.
• Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and Live Play activities.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to maintain service quality and availability.

Requirements:

• Unix / Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Data Warehousing and Data Platforms.
• Databases, Oracle, PL/SQL and SQL.
• Good Working Knowledge: Autosys.
• Middleware technologies such are a plus: MQ, Tomcat, Cloud Computing. Dynatrace, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible.
• Reporting and data visualisation tools such as: Power BI Tableau
• ITIL practices.
