Zohorecruit is seeking an Application Support Technician for a client in Porto. The role involves providing application support, troubleshooting incidents and requests, and ensuring high availability of multiple business applications.

You will analyze database-related issues, run SQL scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. The ideal candidate has a IT degree and about 3 years in application support, with hands-on experience in MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server,

Qualificações

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Around 3 years of experience in Application Support roles.
• Solid experience with MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.
• At least 1 year of experience creating/executing SQL scripts and queries.
• At least 1 year of experience with Java, Python, or Shell scripting.
• At least 1 year of experience in Windows and Linux environments.
• At least 1 year of experience using ticketing tools for incident management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; proactive mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Provide application support, troubleshooting incidents and service requests.
• Monitor and maintain business applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Analyze and resolve issues related to databases, integrations, and workflows.
• Execute and optimize SQL queries and scripts for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Support environments running on Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Work with MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Use ticketing tools to manage incidents, requests, and escalations per SLAs.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to identify root causes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance support processes.
