Nimber in Porto (Hybrid) is seeking an Application Support Engineer to develop technical and functional knowledge, handle support for assigned applications, and proactively manage incidents. You will contribute to automation, keep documentation up to date, and coordinate with the dev team for effective solutions.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Solid Linux and Windows systems administration knowledge.
• Experience with BMC/Control-M or other schedulers.
• Scripting skills in Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with application servers (JBoss/Tomcat/Apache/IIS).
• Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and SQL basics.
• Experience with infrastructure backups and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of LDAP/AD/Kerberos and basic networking.
• Experience with container-based infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Effectively manage and solve production incidents.
• Follow-up changes and technical operations; coordinate with teams.
• Participate in change management for applications and infrastructure.
• Keep documentation up to date on architecture and procedures.
• Manage backups and perform restore tests.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure per SLA.
• Control load capacity and participate in on-call interventions.
• Contribute to automation and improvement of procedures.
• Collaborate with development teams on future architecture.
