Job summary

PrimeIT is seeking an Application Production Support Engineer in Lisbon for a hybrid role. The senior position requires 10+ years of experience and offers a base salary of €1,200–€2,000 per month plus meal allowance and flexible benefits.

You will provide production support, monitor performance, manage incidents and releases, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve reliability and user satisfaction. Candidates should have strong Oracle SQL, scripting, Windows/Linux, networking, and DevOps

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT/production support.
• Strong Oracle SQL and scripting skills are required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of networking and IT production support; DevOps practices a plus; ITIL awareness is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support to users, ensuring the smooth operation of applications in production.
• Monitor application performance, manage incidents and releases, and ensure business processes run smoothly.
• Analyse recurring issues, implement preventive measures and automate routine tasks to improve service quality.
• Maintain technical documentation, share knowledge with the team and support business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify improvements and ensure application reliability and user satisfaction.

Main Tasks:

Technical skills:

• Understanding of ITIL principles is a plus.
