eXalt Fi in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks an experienced eFront Application & Operations Support Analyst to ensure stability and performance of FrontInvest/eFront in private equity and real estate operations.

You will work across Front, Middle, and Back Office teams, handle L2/L3 incidents, manage data interfaces, and contribute to releases, reporting, and process improvements, with fluent English. Hybrid work model available.

Full-time / Hybrid | Alternative Investment Operations & Tech | Lisbon, Portugal

Our client is a global financial institution operating across private wealth, asset management, and alternative investment funds. We are seeking a highly analytical eFront Application & Operations Support Analyst to ensure the operational stability, performance, and continuous enhancement of their core alternative investment platform (eFront / FrontInvest).

In this role, you will act as the key technical and functional bridge between Front, Middle, and Back Office teams—supporting fund operations across Private Equity, Private Debt, and Real Estate.

1. Functional & Technical Support (Run)

• User Support: Manage user requests and resolve L2/L3 functional and technical incidents across the eFront ecosystem (FrontInvest / eFront PM).
• Access & Security Management: Administer user permissions, security profiles, and segregation of duties within the platform.
• Bug & Escalation Handling: Qualify technical anomalies, perform root-cause analysis, and liaise directly with the software vendor (eFront / BlackRock Support) when necessary.

2. Application Infrastructure & Data Flow Management

• Production Monitoring: Monitor platform availability, application servers, and associated database environments.
• Data Interface Management: Oversee and optimize ETL data integration flows, incoming/outgoing interfaces, and database integrations.
• Release Management: Plan, test, and deploy technical patches, version upgrades, and configuration releases across test and production environments.

3. Change Management & Reporting (Change)

• Custom Reporting: Design and modify complex business reports using PageBuilder, eFront Reporting tools, and advanced SQL.
• Process Optimization: Identify recurring support patterns to propose workflow automations and functional enhancements.
• Training & Documentation: Draft user guides, build out internal knowledge bases, and deliver best-practice training to internal stakeholders.
• Application Support experience: Proven hands-on experience supporting applications within a financial services environment.
• Database & Technical Stack:
• Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, data tables analysis, script troubleshooting).
• Familiarity with reporting tools (eFront PageBuilder, Power BI, SSRS) is a plus.
• Understanding of application architecture (IIS servers, file servers, staging/production environments).
• Domain Knowledge: solid understanding of alternative asset fund lifecycles (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt) and operational concepts (Capital Calls, Distributions, NAVs, IRR calculations).
• Soft Skills: Outstanding problem-solving ability, high responsiveness under tight operational timelines, and strong stakeholder management skills.
• Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
