We are looking for a Technical / Functional Analyst to join our team in Lisbon and play a key role in the evolution and operation of a complex digital ecosystem within the energy and mobility sector.
What will be your role
In this role, you will act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring that requirements are translated into robust technical solutions while coordinating multiple stakeholders, support teams and development squads. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, managing incidents, supporting deliveries and ensuring the continuous evolution of interconnected business systems.
Your responsibilities will include
- Defining and designing technical and functional solutions in collaboration with architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure and development teams
- Translating business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
- Managing relationships with business and technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams and priorities to ensure successful delivery of initiatives and operational objectives
- Managing the full lifecycle of incidents, requests and tickets, from analysis and prioritisation through resolution
- Acting as a central coordination point between internal teams, external vendors, support teams and development squads
- Handling critical escalations and ensuring rapid response and mitigation of business impact
- Monitoring ticket backlogs, identifying recurring issues and proposing continuous improvement actions
- Ensuring SLA and OLA compliance through proactive monitoring and governance
- Supporting software delivery activities, including deployment coordination, integrated testing and release follow‑up
- Performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting across integrated platforms and services
- Contributing to operational excellence initiatives and process optimisation efforts
What should you bring to the team
- 4+ years of experience in Technical Analysis, Functional Analysis, Systems Integration or similar IT roles
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience working in complex enterprise environments with multiple integrated systems and stakeholders
- Experience supporting business‑critical applications and operational processes
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and enterprise application ecosystems
- Hands‑on experience with API integrations (REST and SOAP)
- Experience using API testing and analysis tools such as Postman
- Ability to analyse logs, troubleshoot integrations and perform root cause analysis
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, EasyVista or similar
- Knowledge of incident management, problem management and escalation processes
- Ability to design and interpret integration diagrams and end‑to‑end data flows
- Experience managing ticket backlogs and prioritising work according to business impact
- Understanding of SLAs, OLAs and operational governance models
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent Portuguese and English, both written and spoken
- Hybrid model (2 times per week at the office)
Nice to have
- Experience with middleware, ESB or microservices‑based architectures
- Knowledge of JSON, XML, ETL concepts and data integration patterns
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Datadog
- Exposure to CRM, ERP and enterprise digital platforms
- Experience working within Agile environments
