Job summary

Planck Technologies seeks an experienced professional to lead the application lifecycle, ensuring quality, performance and availability across environments. You will coordinate maintenance, drive improvements, and manage external partners while upholding strict security standards.

Applicants bring a software development background and strong knowledge of HTTPS, UX/UI, scripting and accessibility. Hybrid Lisbon-based role with strong stakeholder collaboration and governance responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent (mandatory).
• 5+ years in Application Management or similar.
• Versatile, cross-functional profile across technical areas.
• Experience managing the application lifecycle for quality, stability and improvement.
• Experience handling external suppliers and service providers with delivery control.
• Background in software development.
• Solid knowledge of HTTPS protocols.
• Strong knowledge of Application Security, Privacy by Design and Security by Design.
• Knowledge of UX/UI, scripting and accessibility concepts.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL and MariaDB.
• Experience with IIS and Apache web servers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the application lifecycle for quality, performance and availability.
• Coordinate maintenance, evolution and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage external suppliers, monitor deliverables, quality and deadlines.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.
• Leverage software development experience to support technical decisions.
• Ensure secure design practices including Privacy by Design and Security by Design.
• Facilitate secure communication protocols (HTTPS).
• Oversee UX/UI, scripting and accessibility aspects.
• Work with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Support infrastructure involving SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB, IIS and Apache.
• Ensure applications comply with technical, security and quality requirements.
• Contribute to incident resolution and technical challenges.

• Ensure applications comply with technical, security, and quality requirements.
• Contribute to the resolution of application-related incidents and technical challenges.
