Zusammenfassung

Powertalent is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-driven engineering solutions across the SDLC. This role blends AI Engineering, Platform Engineering and DevOps, requiring a highly autonomous engineer with ownership and proven production experience with AI agents.

You will design and implement AI agent workflows, develop agents with orchestration and MCP, and build robust CI/CD pipelines while integrating with Jira and source control. Hybrid work in Portugal is offered.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with senior/lead responsibilities.
• Proven production deployment of AI agents, including orchestration and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong Platform Engineering, DevOps and CI/CD background.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent) and IaC (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with internal developer platforms, CLIs, or workflow engines.
• Hands-on agentic coding tools and solid SDLC understanding.
• Fluent English (C1) and ability to work in Portugal.

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-driven engineering solutions that improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role combines AI Engineering, Platform Engineering and DevOps. We are looking for a highly autonomous engineer with strong technical ownership and proven experience building and deploying AI agents in production environments . Experience limited to proof-of-concepts is not sufficient.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Currently residing in Portugal English proficiency: C1 minimum.
• Availability within 30 days, ideally sooner.
