Decskill is growing its AI/ML practice with focused expertise in production deployments, automation, and scalable cloud-native pipelines. The team collaborates across ML, Platform, Product, and Data Engineering to deliver end-to-end AI solutions from development to live operation.

The opportunity is based in Portugal with strong emphasis on reliability, observability, and governance, enabling long-term, impactful technology initiatives across international projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience deploying and operating ML/AI systems in production.
• Strong software engineering skills, with automation tooling experience.
• Cloud-native infrastructure, container platforms and distributed systems.
• CI/CD, infrastructure as code and release automation expertise.
• Building pipelines for model packaging, deployment, versioning and testing.
• Understanding deployment strategies including canary, A/B testing, and rollouts.
• Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for model quality and performance.
• Strong observability skills across metrics, logs and telemetry for AI services.
• Knowledge of reproducibility, auditability, version control and governance.
• Strong troubleshooting focus on reliability and scalability.
• Collaborates with ML, Platform Eng, Product Eng and Data Eng teams.
• Fluent in English.

• Proven experience deploying and operating ML or AI systems in production.
• Strong software engineering skills, with experience developing automation and operational tooling.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, container platforms and distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code and release automation.
• Experience building pipelines for model packaging, deployment, versioning, testing and lifecycle management.
• Understanding of deployment strategies, including canary releases, A/B testing, progressive rollouts and rollback.
• Experience implementing evaluation frameworks for model quality, retrieval effectiveness, latency, cost and business performance.
• Strong observability skills, including metrics, logging, tracing and telemetry across AI services and pipelines.
• Knowledge of reproducibility, auditability, version control and operational governance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on reliability, scalability and continuous improvement.
• Experience collaborating with Machine Learning, Platform Engineering, Product Engineering and Data Engineering teams.
• Fluency in English.
