Airbus Portugal SA is seeking an Aerostructures IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional PMO initiatives and align IT delivery with aerospace program goals. The role emphasizes planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication in a hybrid work setting.

Ideal candidates have a relevant Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 2–3 years of PM experience, and comfort with G Suite and AI tools. Travel may be required; fluency in English and German is advantageous.

• Experience in a matrix organization and cross-functional teams.
• Interest in financial or risk management environment; travel likely.
• German language skills are an advantage; business fluent English.

• Identifies and develops improvement ideas, new processes or digital solutions and assesses their impact.
• Tracks project timelines and budgets, flags risks and opportunities, and implements basic mitigation steps.
• Prepares status updates on tasks and runs routine progress meetings.
• Drives project execution and handles handovers to leadership.
• Applies standard PMO frameworks to daily work and escalates critical risks and opportunities.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the project to higher project management levels.
• Guides and supports cross-functional project team members and stakeholders.
• Ensures project workflow alignment with standards and delivers timely progress reports.

Requirements - our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in project management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Experience working in a matrix organization and within cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving skills and quick comprehension will help you in our environment
• Interest in, or previous exposure to, the financial or risk management environment
• German language skills are an advantage
