Airbus Portugal SA is seeking an Aerostructures IT Project Manager to lead complex IT projects within a hybrid work model. The role requires coordinating planning, budgeting, and cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within scope.

Ideal candidates will have a 2–3 year track record in project management, strong communication skills, and familiarity with PM methodologies. Travel may be required as part of project coordination across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in project management.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Leadership and decision-making skills with ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsabilités

• Establishes and maintains detailed planning, workload estimations, project budget, and capacity balancing.
• Coordinates and monitors key project initiatives through to completion.
• Identifies and develops improvement ideas, new processes or digital solutions and assesses their impact in the project scope.
• Tracks project timelines and budgets, flags risks and opportunities, and implements basic mitigation steps.
• Prepares status updates on tasks and runs routine progress meetings.
• Drives project execution and handles handovers to leadership.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the project to higher project management levels.
