Job summary

Airbus Portugal SA is seeking an Aerostructures IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects in a hybrid work setting. The role focuses on planning, budgeting, monitoring progress, and delivering digital solutions within the PMO framework.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering or business, 2–3 years of project management experience, and strong communication skills with fluency in English. Travel may be required as part of project coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Establishes detailed planning, workload estimations, and capacity balancing.
• Coordinates and monitors key project initiatives through to completion.
• Identifies and develops improvement ideas and digital solutions within the project scope.
• Tracks timelines and budgets, flags risks and opportunities, and applies mitigation steps.
• Prepares status updates and runs progress meetings.
• Drives project execution and handovers to leadership.
