Job summary

Tiger Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a growing international investment firm in Lisbon.

The role is hands-on and offers exposure to finance operations across an international environment, with a salary range of €25K–€37.5K plus benefits. You will process supplier invoices, code across cost centres and intercompany accounts, assist with weekly payment runs, and support month-end reconciliations while ensuring compliance with internal controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Management.
• Experience in accounts payable or finance operations.
• Experience in financial or professional services is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; SAP or Concur is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices and ensure they are reviewed and approved within agreed payment terms.
• Code invoices accurately across cost centres, projects and intercompany accounts.
• Assist with weekly payment runs and other outgoing payments.
• Respond to supplier and internal queries, resolving discrepancies where needed.
• Support month-end activities, including reconciliations.
• Follow internal controls and policies to ensure compliance.
• Contribute ideas to improve accounts payable processes.
