Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate processing, controls and end-to-end AP activities in a multinational environment. The role combines operational excellence, process improvement and support for the accounting close within a growing Shared Services structure.

You will handle AP transactions, reconciliations and stakeholder coordination, contribute to KPI monitoring, and support month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Experience in accounts payable or similar finance function.
• Advanced Excel and ERP software experience.

Responsibilities

Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing: Handle the accurate recording and monitoring of financial transactions within the Accounts Payable scope, ensuring reliability, accuracy, and consistency across all activities;
• Controls: Perform account reviews and reconciliations, investigate and resolve discrepancies, support audit activities, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards;
• Efficiency: Contribute to process standardisation and continuous improvement initiatives, monitor KPIs, optimise workflows, and support the implementation of operational best practices;
• Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, support information flow, resolve operational queries, and maintain strong business relationships;
• Month-End Activities: Support month-end closing activities, maintain accurate financial records, assist with reporting requirements, and ensure the timely completion of Accounts Payable deliverables;

Profile

What you bring:

• Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, combined experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance function;
• Technical: Understanding of accounting principles and Accounts Payable processes, advanced Excel skills, and experience working with ERP systems and financial software;
• Communication: Fluent in English with verbal and written communication skills, capable of working effectively with multiple stakeholders in an international environment;
• Mindset: Detail-oriented, organised, proactive, adaptable, and driven by continuous improvement, operational excellence, and high-quality service delivery;
