Airbus Portugal SA seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant for Payments in Lisbon to join the GBS. You will create and analyze payment proposals, manage intercompany payments, and prepare urgent payments for internal customers.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and English at an intermediate level. Excel and SAP knowledge is a plus in this permanent, entry-level position with a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

• Accountant with experience in the Payments process.
• Finance / Accounting degree or experience in administrative accounting tasks.
• Implement and document process improvements.
• Familiar with standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Professionalism.
• Self-oriented approach.
• Ability to prioritize and to efficiently troubleshoot problems.
• Effective communication skill, both oral and written.
• Ability to work with all organizational levels.
• Language: English - Intermediate level.
• Knowledge in Excel and SAP would be a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Create, analyze and execute payment proposals
• Manage intercompany payments
• Prepare and execute urgent payments requested by internal customers
• Analyze vendor accounts
• Ensure that all payments activities are performed accurately within deadlines
• Create payment forecast and other financial reports
• Work with internal and external banking tools
• Investigate and resolve payments issues
• Ensure that all the compliance and internal controls related topics are followed by using the correct procedures when processing payments
• Support continuous improvement opportunities and solution implementation, working with colleagues and roll-out improvements
