Job summary

PrimeIT in Lisbon is seeking a Junior Accounts Payable/Receivable Analyst to support monthly closing activities and accounting operations. The role requires collaboration with international teams and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a background in Accounting or related fields, experience with month-end processes, and proficiency in English. This position offers a dynamic, growth-oriented setting with opportunities on international projects.

Qualifications

Academic background in Accounting, Economics, Business Management or a related field.
Experience as Accounting Officer or in a similar accounting role.
Experience with month-end closing activities, including accruals and depreciations.
Experience with Fixed Assets and knowledge of accounting standards.
Fluent level of English is mandatory.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

Perform month-end activities such as accruals and depreciations.
Analyse and perform corrections in the accounting system.
Create and manage Fixed Assets according to Group policies and accounting standards.
Perform accounting controls in line with corporate procedures.
Analyse open items and pending accounts and support their resolution.
