Street Smash Burgers, based in Lisbon, is seeking an Accountant to own its Italian operations from Lisbon and collaborate with the Madrid-based HQ. You’ll manage day-to-day bookkeeping for Italy, support tax compliance, and help roll out Dynamics 365 BC.

You’ll work remotely with the HQ finance team, applying AI and automation tools to streamline processes while meeting deadlines. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in Italian accounting, speaks Italian and English, and thrives in a fast-growing,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Italian accounting with knowledge of OIC and Italian VAT.
• Professional working proficiency in Italian and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate remotely with different teams.

Responsabilités

• Run day-to-day bookkeeping for Italy (prima nota, AR/AP).
• Record SDI e-invoices and reconcile bank accounts.
• Manage Italian tax obligations: VAT/LiPe, F24, corrispettivi telematici and deadlines.
• Monitor store revenue across high volumes: daily takings, delivery, meal vouchers, cards.
• Support the preparation of the annual financial statements.
• Help roll out Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central: opening balances, master data, testing.
• Work with Italian tax advisor, auditors and HQ finance team.

The role

From Lisbon, you’ll own Street’s accounting in Italy and build the foundations of our numbers as new stores open one after another. You’ll work remotely with our HQ finance team in Madrid, using AI and automation tools every day (yes, in accounting too).

Who we’re looking for

Must-have

• Based in Lisbon or the surrounding area
• 2+ years in Italian accounting, with solid knowledge of OIC principles and Italian VAT
• Professional working proficiency in Italian and English (both used daily)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and strong Excel skills
• Accurate, reliable and serious about deadlines
• Able to work independently and coordinate remotely with different teams

Nice-to-have

• Accounting diploma (Ragioneria) and/or a degree in Economics
• Hands‑on Business Central experience, ideally including an ERP implementation
• Experience in restaurants or multi‑site retail, cost accounting or management control
• Familiarity with Python, R or AI tools, and professional working proficiency in Spanish
