Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting an Accountant to support the Italian market for a multinational Healthcare company. The role is fully remote with a 12-month contract and a gross base salary of 2,500–2,857 EUR per month, plus meal allowance and health insurance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, fluent English, and ideally Italian; strong Excel skills, US GAAP knowledge, and SAP experience are a plus in an international setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is a must.
• Italian language is an advantage.
• Microsoft Excel advanced user is a plus.
• Knowledge of US GAAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconciliations of accounts.
• Prepare flux analysis and comment on variances.
• Support the external provider with the preparation of Statutory Accounts.
• Dealing with the Internal (SOX) and External Audits; responsible for equity grant accounting, payroll booking & related activities.
• Support global projects VAT and Tax preparation; Fixed Assets accounting.
• Support US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance.
• Support the monthly close in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring proper maintenance of statutory financials.
• Audit support for EMEA SSC region including regional external auditors and internal audits.

Our client is a multinational Healthcare company looking to hire an Accountant to support the Italian market. This position requires expertise while working fully remote allowing to balance both professional and personal life.

Description

• Reconciliations of accounts
• Prepare flux analysis and comment on variances
• Support the external provider with the preparation of Statutory Accounts
• Dealing with the Internal (SOX) and External Audits Responsible for equity grant accounting, payroll booking & related activities
• Support global projects VAT and Tax preparation Fixed Assets accounting
• Support US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance
• Support the monthly close in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring proper maintenance of statutory financial. This includes interfacing with Corporate Accounting, with external accounting firms and the external auditors.
• Audit support for EMEA SSC region including, but not limited to, regional external auditors, internal audits and SOX internal control testing.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in field with 5+ years of related work experience
• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is a must.
• Ability to speak Italian will be an advantage but not required.

Job Offer
