Sii Poland is seeking a System-Level Modeling Engineer in Wrocław to work on SystemC-based models and firmware close to hardware. You will collaborate with hardware and software architects to define specs and drive system integration, mentoring juniors and delivering high-quality solutions.
The role requires 5+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, SystemC, and experience with drivers, bootloaders, and OS internals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher in CS/CE/EE or related field.
- 5+ years in embedded software development with system-level focus.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and SystemC interfacing with hardware.
- Experience with drivers, bootloaders, memory, scheduling concepts.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement models and validation firmware for silicon components.
- Lead development of models, firmware and embedded software.
- Collaborate with HW/SW architects for specs and integration.
- Mentor junior engineers in software design and best practices.
- Participate in design reviews and drive performance optimizations.
- Provide technical docs for models, APIs and workflows.
- Communicate progress, risks and challenges to stakeholders.
