Job summary

UPM Raflatac in Poland is hiring a Specialist, Logistics Planning to join our Service Delivery Logistics Team in Wrocław. The role focuses on end-to-end transport planning, load optimization and KPI monitoring to ensure on-time delivery and high service levels.

You will collaborate with Order Management, Logistics Network and Production Planning; require 3+ years in logistics or supply chain, fluent English, German is a plus, and a hands-on, proactive attitude with solid IT skills.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of relevant work experience in supply, production planning or logistics.
• Excellent verbal and written English; German is a strong asset.
• Good knowledge of supply chain processes, customer business, product and service offering.
• Hands-on attitude and service-oriented mindset.
• Pro-active and able to adapt to changing situations.
• Good knowledge of IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure perfect order fulfillment, including product availability and delivery management.
• Plan and optimize road transport, including FTL/LTL and multi-drop shipments.
• Optimize load consolidation, routing, payload and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate end-to-end transport execution from order readiness to final delivery.
• Secure logistics capacity, monitor provider performance and manage non-conformances.
• Monitor transport KPIs and drive corrective actions.
• Proactively manage disruptions and delivery risks with alternative solutions.
• Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
• Act as the key interface between multiple functions (Order Management, Loading, Logistics Network & Sourcing, Production Planning, Inhouse Sales and Service Providers).

What you will do

• Ensure perfect order fulfillment , including product availability and delivery management
• Plan and optimize road transport , including FTL/LTL and multi-drop shipments, based on customer needs, capacity, cost and delivery requirements
• Optimize load consolidation, routing, payload and equipment utilization , considering operational and safety requirements
• Coordinate end-to-end transport execution , from order readiness through pickup to final delivery
• Secure required logistics capacity , monitor service-provider performance and manage non-conformances
• Monitor transport KPIs , address recurring issues and drive corrective actions
• Proactively manage disruptions and delivery risks , arranging alternative solutions and communicating deviations early
• Drive standardization, automation and continuous improvement of logistics processes
• Act as the key interface between Order Management, Loading, Logistics Network & Sourcing, Production Planning, Inhouse Sales and Service Providers

Who you are

• You have a professional education and at least three years of relevant working experience in supply, production planning or logistics (preferred land/truck planning)
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German language is considered as a strong asset
• You have good knowledge of supply chain processes, customer business, product, and service offering
• You are a dedicated team player with a 'hands-on' attitude
• You have a service-orientated mindset and you enjoy solving complex tasks
• You are pro-active and you are willing to adapt to changing situations
• You have a good knowledge of IT tools

Additional information

• This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław.

The position holder will report to Team Leader, Service Delivery Logistics.
