Job summary

UPM - The Biofore Company is seeking a Junior Supply Planner to join the team near Wrocław, Poland. You will support production planning, inventory control and collaboration across functions to keep plans aligned with demand.

The role emphasizes learning and developing planning skills in a global, sustainability-driven company. A hybrid work model is offered with on-site collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics or related field.
Excellent Polish and English communication, written and spoken.
Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Comfortable working with numbers and checking accuracy.

Responsibilities

Plan production runs and schedule orders based on customer demand, stock levels, materials and capacity.
Manage laminate stock levels to balance reliable delivery with avoiding excess stock and waste.
Collaborate with Operations, Procurement and other teams to ensure clear information flow and smooth production.
Spot supply risks early and communicate decisions when plans change.
Keep planning data and capacity information up to date in systems.
Track delivery and inventory performance and take action when off-target.
Plan trials and samples and support product introduction or phase-out.
Explore digital tools and AI to improve planning, decision-making and data quality.
Share knowledge and provide coverage for other Supply Planners.

We are looking for a Junior Supply Planner to join our team in UPM Nowa Wieś Wrocławska or Biskupice Podgórne , near Wrocław, Poland.

What you will do

Plan production runs and schedule orders based on customer demand, stock levels, available materials and machine capacity
Manage laminate stock levels, balancing reliable delivery with the need to avoid excess stock and waste
Work with Operations, Procurement and other teams to make sure information flows clearly and production runs smoothly
Spot supply risks early, help find solutions and keep the right people informed when plans change
Keep planning data and production capacity information up to date in our systems
Track delivery and inventory performance and take action when results are off target
Plan trials and samples and support the introduction or phase-out of products
Look for practical ways to use digital tools and AI to improve planning, decision-making and data quality
Share your knowledge and support other Supply Planners, including providing cover when needed

Who you are

You have a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Data Analytics, Engineering, Economics or a related field, or equivalent experience
You communicate clearly in Polish and English, both spoken and written
You enjoy working with people and building good working relationships
You can adapt when plans change and keep track of your priorities
You stay organized when priorities change
You are comfortable working with numbers and checking your work for accuracy
You are curious, look for practical solutions and take the initiative when something needs attention
You are willing to make decisions, ask questions when needed and take responsibility for your work
You are confident using Excel, especially formulas and pivot tables
Experience with an ERP system is a plus, but not required

Additional information

The position holder will report to the Supply Planning Manager.
