Job summary

EPAM Systems in Poland is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to own client engagements end-to-end, from qualification to delivery and value realization. You will be the primary link between Sales, Client Partners, Delivery, Solutions, and client leadership to ensure commitments translate into high-quality execution and strong partnerships.

The role demands proven leadership in AI-enabled delivery, substantial experience in the insurance sector, and hands-on governance of large-scale programs

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT services, consulting, or digital delivery with hands-on tech background.
• Experience delivering AI-based solutions or driving AI adoption across the SDLC.
• Full ownership of mid- to large-scale engagements (40–50+ FTE, $5M+ value) with P&L accountability.
• Proven leadership in client engagement, delivery management and pre-sales.
• Experience with MSAs, SOWs, fixed-price or outcome-based models desirable.
• Direct engagement with C-level/VP client stakeholders; strong negotiation.
• Engagement governance, delivery orchestration and escalation management across multi-stream delivery.
• Insurance domain knowledge including Solvency II, GDPR and local regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Own the engagement lifecycle end-to-end — from opportunity qualification through delivery and stabilization, with full ownership of outcomes and P&L.
• Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and senior client stakeholders; lead governance and escalations.
• Lead presales engagements and own RFP/RFI responses, shaping engagement model and feasibility.
• Oversee deal-to-delivery transition, ensuring SOWs and delivery plans are aligned and executable.
• Manage and grow a team of Delivery/Program Managers and Tech Leads.
• Establish data-driven delivery governance with KPIs, reporting and escalation paths.
• Drive AI adoption across delivery teams to improve SDLC efficiency and narrative for RFPs.
• Oversee architecture governance and ensure solutions meet client requirements and quality standards.
