Job summary

Software Mind is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join a remote, long-term engagement building a new platform for a Dutch cloud services provider serving the public sector. You will replace an old instance with an up-to-date implementation, working in a small senior team with direct client contact and growth potential into ITOM, CMDB and CSDM work.

Qualifications

• Valid ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Valid ServiceNow Data Foundations.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on ServiceNow administration (users, roles, groups, ACLs, update sets, scheduled jobs, notifications, catalogue items, form configuration).
• Practical experience with incident, request and change handling in a live production environment with SLAs.
• Fluent English, spoken and written, with client stakeholder contact.
• Remote role in a small team with independent queue management.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily incidents, service requests and user questions on the ServiceNow platform, adhering to SLAs.
• Administer users, roles, groups and access rights, including ACL configuration and periodic access reviews.
• Configure the platform in day-to-day operation: catalogue items, forms, notifications, assignment rules and scheduled jobs.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, integrations and error logs and act on issues before users report them.
• Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues at second line and determine if design change is needed.
• Promote changes between environments using update sets, following release and change management rules.
• Document administration procedures and build SOPs for repeatable requests.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to bring operations perspective to designs and changes.
