Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Discovery SME to lead the platform and infrastructure authority for a large-scale Discovery environment. You will assess system health across MID Servers and discovery schedules, translating operational runbooks into structured workflows for scalable engineering.

You'll also drive data quality and CMDB relationships, and work with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana across global teams to optimize discovery performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering and hands-on ServiceNow Discovery.
• Experience with MID Servers, Discovery Patterns/Probes, credentials and schedules.
• Understanding of CMDB/CSDM, CIs, relationships, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Continuously assess health of ServiceNow Discovery ecosystem including MID Servers and discovery schedules.
• Translate runbooks into structured workflows to reduce manual investigation.
• Collect, interpret metrics from Discovery and telemetry to drive improvements.
• Investigate infrastructure attributes to ensure data quality and successful discovery.
