Job summary

Software Mind seeks a ServiceNow Platform Administrator to join a small senior team building a new platform for a Dutch cloud service provider. You will manage incidents, users, roles and ACLs, and ensure SLAs are met in a fully remote, long-term engagement.

You’ll collaborate with developers and architects, document procedures, promote cross-environment changes, and contribute to ITOM, CMDB and CSDM work as the project grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration: users, roles, ACLs, update sets, notifications, catalogue items and form configuration.
• Experience with incident, request and change handling in a live production environment with SLAs.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, with client stakeholders.
• Remote role in a small team with autonomous queue management.
• Working knowledge of ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily incidents, service requests and user questions on the ServiceNow platform, meeting SLAs and priority rules.
• Administer users, roles, groups and access rights including ACL configuration and reviews.
• Configure the platform for day-to-day operation: catalogue items, forms, notifications, assignment rules and scheduled jobs.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, integrations and error logs and act before users report issues.
• Troubleshoot configuration and integration issues at second line; escalate when design changes are needed.
• Promote changes between environments using update sets; follow release and change management rules.
• Document administration procedures and build SOPs for repeatable processes.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to align platform operations with designs.
