Job summary

Sierra Select Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, improve internal processes, and support cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on ensuring efficient business activities, productivity gains, and enhanced service quality. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver with excellent organizational and communication skills, experienced coordinating multiple functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in business operations, operations management, administration, project management, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, or a related discipline preferred.
• Strong understanding of business processes and operational planning.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Experience with business management, ERP, CRM, project management, or workflow systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Experience in distribution, consumer products, electronics, retail, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily business operations across multiple departments.
• Develop, implement, and improve operational processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Monitor business performance, operational metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve productivity and reduce operational issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Marketing, and other teams.
• Support order management, vendor coordination, inventory-related activities, and administrative operations.
• Establish and maintain standard operating procedures and operational documentation.
• Track projects, deadlines, priorities, and department deliverables.
• Prepare operational reports, summaries, and performance updates for leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, resource planning, and operational forecasting.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and business partners as needed.
• Help resolve operational issues and ensure timely follow-up.
• Support implementation of new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings, and process improvement.
• Ensure teams have the information, resources, and support needed to meet operational goals.
• Participate in strategic planning and special projects as assigned by leadership.
