Job summary

EngagedMD, a Patient Journey Management solution, is hiring an HR Generalist to support our growing team. This fully remote role requires US residency and will own benefits administration, payroll support, compliance, and employee relations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will help standardize HR processes, maintain records, and ensure policies are compliant while delivering a positive experience for employees across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HR administration or a generalist role.
• Hands-on experience administering benefits and payroll support.
• Strong knowledge of ADA, FMLA, workers' compensation, and multi-state compliance.
• Experience with performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll platforms and PM tools (Lattice).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR point of contact for team members and guidance on policies.
• Administer employee benefits with brokers and vendors, incl. open enrollment.
• Maintain confidential employee records and assist payroll with adjustments.
• Ensure HR compliance across federal/state laws and leave administration.
• Stay current on employment laws and HR market trends.
• Coordinate state registrations for a fully-remote organization across jurisdictions.
• Review and update the employee handbook and HR policies for accuracy.
• Handle day-to-day employee relations, documenting issues and resolutions.
• Support performance management, compensation reviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience.
