Job summary

PlanMyPlot, a fully remote architectural design company, seeks a People & Ops lead to shape hiring, onboarding, compliance, and culture as the team scales. You’ll own recruiting, payroll coordination, policy creation, and employee relations in a fast‑growing, KPI‑driven environment.

You’ll design onboarding for remote hires, ensure statutory compliance, and drive HR processes from scratch. This role offers ownership, impact, and growth within a distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 2+ years HR generalist experience, startup or remote-first preferred.
• Knowledge of Indian labour law basics (PF, ESI, gratuity, current labour codes).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruiting: posting ads, screening, interviews, offers via Zoho Recruit.
• Design onboarding to set up remote hires for success from day one.
• Coordinate monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance with CA support.
• Manage attendance, leaves, and performance review cycles in Zoho People.
• Build HR policies for a remote, KPI-driven team and handle queries.
• Support offboarding professionally and monitor KPI-driven productivity.
• Track KPI and follow up for overall team productivity.
