Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an Engineer, IT Development Generalist (Configuration Engineer) to design, develop, test, and implement complex enterprise document imaging and digital solutions for global clients. You will deliver solutions end-to-end, collaborate with global teams, and ensure security and EU data residency compliance.

This remote role requires German and English proficiency and a Bachelor's degree in a CS/Engineering field, with applicants ideally located in Poland, Romania, Hungary,

Qualifications

• Experience in software development and full SDLC
• Experience with Document Management System (DMS) platform development
• Proficiency in Python, C#, VB.Net, XML, JSON, APIs and SQL
• Fluent in German and English
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering; living in Poland, Romania, Hungary or Slovakia

Responsibilities

• Design & Technical Delivery: formulate detailed designs and develop software using core platforms and modern languages
• Project Estimation & Execution: determine effort, timelines, unit test, support UAT and troubleshooting
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with internal teams and global clients to gather requirements and manage risks
• Maintenance & Integration: perform maintenance and software integrations across systems
• Compliance & Security: adhere to change management, security policies and EU data residency restrictions
