Scale-X Solutions is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to manage scheduling and documentation for a new construction project. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and updating schedules using Microsoft Project, in a remote setup supporting teams across regions.

The ideal candidate has a civil/engineering background, with experience in construction processes, sequencing, and reliable reporting. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in construction, engineering, or contracting.
• Practical experience using Microsoft Project to develop and manage construction schedules.
• Understanding of construction activities, project sequencing, and timelines.
• Familiarity with Gantt charts, critical path scheduling, and project milestones.
• Knowledge of construction documentation, BOQs, quotations, and procurement processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Construction Scheduling and Project Planning: break down project activities, establish timelines, identify critical paths, coordinate with stakeholders, monitor progress, update schedules, prepare Gantt charts and reports.
• Construction Administration: provide day-to-day admin support, maintain documentation, assist with quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and work orders, organize plans and permits.
• Project Coordination: coordinate with managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers; track deadlines, procurements, and meetings; prepare minutes.
• Reporting and Documentation: prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, track milestones, monitor costs, maintain updated documentation.
