Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is seeking a Payroll and Time Management Specialist with German to support end-to-end payroll and time management processes in support of the Austrian market. You will maintain accurate employee data, handle tax matters, and manage system interfaces while delivering timely payroll execution.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of HR Operations experience, strong German and English skills, and familiarity with SAP/SuccessFactors.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Services, HR Administration, Payroll, or another HR-related field.
• German and English language skills (minimum B2).
• Austrian market experience is a strong advantage.
• Completed higher education preferably in HR or related areas.
• Empathy, teamwork, accountability and service orientation.
• Ability to contribute to Speak‑Up culture and process optimization.
• Country-specific knowledge in Time Management is a plus.
• Experience with SAP, Interflex, Workforce, ServiceNow, MS Office (advanced Excel) and SuccessFactors.
• WiFi Personalverrechnung course completion would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end payroll and time management processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Maintaining employee data and handling tax-related matters for the Austrian market.
• Creating and auditing time management reports and conducting quality checks.
• Responding to payroll and time management inquiries via phone and email using the case system.
• Participating in projects and driving continuous service quality improvements.
• Owning at least one complex area of expertise and training the team.
