Job summary

HSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. in Kraków runs a payments operations centre processing domestic and international payments end-to-end. You will ensure accurate, timely payments in line with controls and regulatory requirements while driving process improvements.

The role requires experience in payments/banking operations, a keen eye for detail, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. English is required (B2) and Hebrew (B1) is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments operations, banking operations, or similar processing and controls environment.
• Understanding of payment lifecycles and investigation processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a disciplined approach to risk and controls.
• Clear communication and collaborative working style.
• English (B2) required; Hebrew (B1) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participate in change activities and perform PVT affecting payment processes.
• Process, monitor, and validate payment instructions across channels.
• Complete daily controls, reconciliations, and exception handling to minimise risk.
• Investigate and resolve payment queries, returns, rejects, recalls, and amendments within SLAs.
• Maintain clear case notes and documentation for auditability and governance.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and support process improvements/automation.
• Support incident management and contribute to continuous improvement and resilience.
