Job summary

HSBC Poland invites you to join the Production Support Team within the Payments IT department. You will help ensure platform availability and service stability for Global Payments Execution, Messaging and Orchestration in a mission-critical environment.

Responsibilities include incident resolution, root-cause analysis, deploying vendor releases, and implementing automation with Shell scripting, Java, Bash and Python. Strong English, SQL/PLSQL and Linux experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on Linux experience is essential.
• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration is required.
• Automation via shell scripting in Bash/Python/Java.
• Strong understanding of Oracle databases and components.
• Excellent written and spoken English within a global team.
• Ability to monitor systems and perform performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Production Support, including incident resolution.
• Investigate major system problems and perform root-cause analysis.
• Install and release software updates from vendors.
• Develop local solutions using Shell scripting, Java, Python or Bash.
• Support testing activities for new implementations and changes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across global locations to coordinate delivery.
• Review and redesign processes to improve performance and reliability.
• Evaluate tools and techniques to strengthen service offerings.
