HSBC in Poland seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst for Wholesale IT Payments to bridge business needs with technology and to deliver effective IT solutions. You will collaborate with business SMEs to define requirements and work with multiple streams to design and implement changes.

The role requires strong knowledge of ISO 20022, payment-processing lifecycles, and excellent English communication. You will influence project scope and help drive delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience as IT Business Analyst or Business Consultant
• Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, financial messaging standards and payment processing lifecycles
• Ability to work with product owners, project managers, developers and architects
• Proficiency in English for business communication
• Strong interpersonal skills with team leadership and contribution
• Innovative thinking and ability to challenge conventional approaches

Responsabilités

• Elicit and define business requirements with business SMEs
• Analyse and define IT solutions with OPS Payment, HUB IT Payments and other streams
• Translate requirements into solution designs and functional specifications
• Document requirements in BRD documents or Jira user stories
• Perform root cause analysis of failures and recommend improvements
• Negotiate project scope and assess proposed changes
