Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków is seeking an STP Manager to join the System Business Analysis Team within Global Payments Solutions Operations. You will focus on reducing turnaround time in payments processing by improving straight-through processing and first-time resolution.

You will collaborate with Operations and Technology, review technical documentation, and produce MI reports and a monthly STP deck to drive continuous improvement while supporting stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of payments processing and partner systems.
• Knowledge of GPS, HUB, COGNOS and GPI.
• Strong written and verbal communication to influence stakeholders.
• Analytical problem solving and data analytics.
• Plan and organise effectively while adapting to change and shifting priorities.
• Manage time effectively and deliver under pressure.
• Demonstrate commercial orientation in day-to-day decision making.
• Focus on continuous improvement of STP performance and reduction of manual intervention.

Responsibilities

• Understand payments processing procedures and MI requirements including producing, analysing and interpreting MI.
• Work with Operations and Technology to introduce procedural and technological changes that improve straight through processing of payments.
• Review Functional Specification Documentation and other technical documentation to interpret system behaviour and explain it to non-technical colleagues.
• Produce the monthly STP deck covering highlights and improvements introduced to reduce non-STP volumes.
• Review end-to-end processes and enhance workflows on an ongoing basis to reduce manual intervention and turnaround time.
• Promote the use of self-serve tools with front line relationship managers and the business to reduce reliance on Operations and improve turnaround on customer enquiries.
• Handle ad hoc stakeholder requests by preparing reports, MI and solutions backed by data and metrics.
• Document and assess root causes for STP dips and work with reporting teams to track actions and put prevention measures in place.
