Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Gliwice, Poland, seeks a Senior Onsite IT Support Engineer to act as the primary IT representative at designated sites, delivering deskside and OT support to keep manufacturing operations running with minimal downtime.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and RF scanners, manage data closets, perform daily health checks, create KB articles, and drive end-to-end incident resolution in

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years hands-on deskside/onsite IT support experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
• Experience with hardware, software, and networking support.
• Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, AD, and JAMF.
• Experience with RF scanners and label printers.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain printers, phones, and equipment on site.
• Diagnose and resolve network, hardware, and software issues.
• Provide OT/ PLC and other device support for shopfloor environments.
• Act as Face of IT, escalating issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead frontline support for hardware and software to ensure continuity.
• Manage data closets, perform health checks and reporting.
• Coordinate with IT/OT vendors to keep site operations running.
• Document resolutions and contribute to the knowledge base.
• Follow SLAs and ITIL processes; handle ServiceNow tickets.
