Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited is hiring a desk-side support specialist to provide on-site IT support on shopfloor in Warsaw. You will perform data analysis and reporting using MS Office, coordinate desktop changes to prevent deployment collisions during high-priority incidents, and prepare rollout requests.

You will troubleshoot SCCM client-side deployment and patching, manage assets (laptops/desktops/printers), and work with ITSM processes and ServiceNow.

Qualifications

• Polish and English fluency is mandatory.
• Onsite support experience is required.
• Ability to commission new laptops/desktops across shopfloor.
• Ability to move around with necessary tools and devices.
• Maintain the asset inventory and update the desired tool.
• Disciplined, systematic problem solving skills.
• Experience with Windows OS (Win10/Win11).
• Troubleshoot SCCM client-side deployment failures.
• Troubleshoot patching deployment failures over SCCM client-side.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience with ITSM, ServiceNow.
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Visio).
• VPN (Cisco) and remote dial-in users.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis & reporting using MS Office and ITSM tools.
• Coordinate desktop changes to avoid deployment collisions on high priority incidents.
• Prepare requests for rollout.
• Participate in incident handling concerning desktop changes.
• Microsoft environment knowledge (desktop, O365).
• Understand products building up a desktop service.
• Extensive troubleshooting of application deployment, patching & security tools.
• Experience from the desktop environment.
• Understanding and experience of ITSM and ticketing process.
