Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies in Warsaw is seeking an Internal IT specialist to provide walk-in and remote support, manage equipment, and ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of staff. You will work closely with Workplace and Facilities teams to deliver a seamless employee IT experience.

• Able to troubleshoot HW/SW issues and maintain various operating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
• Provide clear documentation and end-user guidance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Walk-in support, incidents and requests: Record and resolve incidents and requests including handing out IT equipment.
• Responsible for stock management of IT equipment, installing PCs, storage media and other IT equipment.
• Workplace and Meeting room equipment: 2nd level troubleshooting, investigate recurring issues and propose improvements; roll-out OS updates, BIOS, firmware; monitor and keep equipment up-to-date.
• Asset Management, Re-use and Disposal service: Maintain inventory of IT assets, fixed asset register, regulatory compliance and lifecycle management.
• On and offboarding: Ensure equipment and prerequisites are ready for new hires or consultants; manage vendor communications and returns.
• Enhance Service Delivery: Implement robust systems for tracking and managing support requests and incidents.
• Optimize IT Equipment Management: Ensure consistent experience, high quality and performance of IT equipment.
• Foster Collaboration and Communication: Promote open communication and teamwork across IT and other departments.
