Job summary

HS Financial Technologies is seeking an experienced professional for its Middle Office Team in Kraków. The role focuses on trade and cash reconciliations, settlements, and multi-client oversight, with exposure to OTC and listed products.

Key responsibilities include collaboration with NAV, IT, risk and investor services, plus ongoing training and leadership duties. A bachelor’s degree and fluent English are preferred, with hybrid remote/work-from-office options.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a high-demand fast-paced work environment including Middle Office with OTC or listed products knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills with problem solving ability.
• Ability to interact with different market stakeholders to support resolution of position and cash breaks.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review the trade and cash details of trades and perform street reconciliations.
• Confirm and process cash settlement of Resets, Option Premiums and Net cash figures.
• Ensure accuracy of all trade bookings, end of day pricing, and client deliverables.
• Maintain oversight of multiple clients and processes across the team.
• Communicate with clients to assist with systems and trade-related queries.
• Collaborate with middle office, NAV, IT, risk, and investor service teams.
• Understand HedgeServ applications and platforms.
• Support tech solutions to improve client processes with the business development team.
• Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings and provide ongoing feedback.
• Participate in recruitment activities and support hiring decisions.
• Assist development and training of team members to broaden knowledge.
• Promote workload management and cross-training to reduce dependency.

Middle Office Team

The HedgeServ Middle Office department has close links with our Dublin, New York and Sydney office. As we continue through a period of explosive growth, HedgeServ is searching for experienced professional who can make an immediate impact on our growing team. The Middle Office team will work closely with the Dublin department and focus on our large and growing client base, projects and initiatives along with exposure to Hedge Fund Middle Office Space.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the trade and cash details of trades in the market and perform street reconciliations
• Confirm and process the cash settlement of Resets, Option Premiums and Net cash figures
• Ensure the accuracy of all trade bookings, end of day pricing, and client deliverables
• Maintain a broad understanding and oversight of multiple clients and operational processes, ensuring appropriate coverage, knowledge sharing and consistency across the team
• Effectively communicate with clients assisting with all systems and trade related queries
• Work closely with the various middle office, NAV, IT, risk, and investor service teams
• Quickly build a deep understanding of the proprietary HedgeServ applications and platforms
• Support the implementation of technology solutions to improve client processes with our business development team
• Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings with team members, providing ongoing support and feedback
• Participate in recruitment activities, including interviewing candidates and supporting hiring decisions
• Support the development and training of team members, helping build broader client and process knowledge across the team
• Promote effective workload management and cross-training to reduce dependency on individual team members and strengthen overall team resilience

Job Requirements For The Role

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance is preferred
• 5+ years of experience within a high demand fast paced work environment including experience in the Middle Office Space with strong product knowledge across OTC and/or listed products
• Ability to interact with different market stakeholders to support the resolution of position and cash breaks
• Strong Excel skills with problem solving ability
• Manage multiple tasks effectively in a time-sensitive environment with strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Demonstrates willingness to learn and adopt new technologies

• Industry platform knowledge: TradeServ, MarkitWire, Osttra (Markit) Trade Manager, Traiana, Harmony, Bloomberg, DTCC, ICELink and PB Portals is a plus
