Job summary

HedgeServ Corporation in Kraków is expanding its Middle Office presence. The role involves joining a growing team at an early stage to support large client bases, with exposure to Hedge Fund Middle Office space and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a fast-paced middle office, strong Excel and client communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance. Hybrid work is available with career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a fast-paced middle office environment.
• Experience with OTC and listed products.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review the trade and cash details of trades in the market.
• Confirm and process the cash settlement of resets, option premiums and net cash figures.
• Ensure the accuracy of all trade bookings, end-of-day pricing and client deliverables.
• Communicate with clients to assist with systems and trade-related queries.
• Work closely with middle office, NAV, IT, risk and investor service teams.
• Support technology implementations to improve client processes with the business development team.

Middle Office Team

The HedgeServ Middle Office department has close links with our Dublin, New York and Sydney office. Due to the rapid growth we have experienced in Krakow, we are now looking to develop our Middle Office presence locally. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to join our team at a very early stage and play a key role in this growth and development. The new Middle Office team will work closely with the Dublin department and focus on our large and growing client base, projects and initiatives along with exposure to Hedge Fund Middle Office Space.

Key Responsibilities

• Review the trade and cash details of trades in the market
• Confirm and process the cash settlement of Resets, Option Premiums and Net cash figures
• Ensure the accuracy of all trade bookings, end of day pricing, and client deliverables
• Effectively communicate with clients assisting with all systems and trade related queries
• Work closely with the various middle office, NAV, IT, risk, and investor service teams
• Support the implementation of technology solutions to improve client processes with our business development team

Job Requirements for the role

Education:

• Completed bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ of experience within a high demand fast paced work environment including experience in the Middle Office Space with strong product knowledge across OTC and listed products
• Ability to interact with different market stakeholders to support the resolution of position and cash breaks
• Strong Excel skills with problem solving ability

Personal skills:

• Manage multiple tasks effectively in a time-sensitive environment with strong attention to accuracy and detail
• Demonstrates willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
