Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a proactive Client Onboarding Executive or KYC Analyst to deliver precise onboarding experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage end-to-end KYC due diligence for individuals and entities, act as the onboarding point of contact, assess risk, verify documentation, and escalate concerns as needed. Collaboration with Sales, Financial Crime, Compliance and Legal is essential to remove blockers and ensure timely reviews.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in KYC and client onboarding.
• Strong working knowledge of end-to-end KYC, including complex structures.
• Solid understanding of PEPs, sanctions and adverse media screening.
• Experience with Suitability/Appropriateness assessments and MiFID categorisation.
• Familiarity with FCA requirements, JMLSG guidance, MiFID, and Money Laundering Regulations.
• Confidence in sourcing CDD information from publicly available sources.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end KYC due diligence for clients.
• Act as primary contact throughout onboarding journey.
• Assess CDD, EDD, Source of Wealth/Funds, PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse Media Screening, as well as MiFID categorisation, FATCA/CRS, and EMIR requirements.
• Identify gaps, collect and verify documentation from internal and external sources.
• Assess customer risk and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Utilise open-source tools and LexisNexis for due diligence.
• Review entities including corporates, funds, partnerships and trusts.
• Ensure records meet internal policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate client data across systems.
• Manage workflow to ensure timely completion of reviews.
• Support cross-functional projects and document MI.
